Last week I got the opportunity to take part in the Adidas #boostlondon Challenge with fellow London bloggers and journalists. We weren’t told much prior to the event apart from keep Thursday evening free. I was very intrigued to see what the guys at Adidas had in store for us.
Information was drip fed to us via Twitter (helping to build excitement and anticipation through the day):
Everyone involved was split into four teams:
This of course prompted some friendly team rivalry:
We met at Adidas HQ at 6pm where each team was kitted out in all the latest gear, before being whisked off to our respective locations, for us it was Ladbroke Grove.
In my team were:
When we reached the destination our team leader, the lovely Alex, gave us a gold envelope that revealed our challenge.
We were tasked with taking a photo at a number of spots over London; Team Ladbroke Grove took the fun photo taking task to the extreme…
Our first stop was Portobello Market where we pretended to be a little bit gangster…

Next up was a 50m sprint in Marylebone! Ready, set, GO!
Finally onto our last destination – Joe & the Juice near Carnaby Street.
On our way there we couldn’t resist taking this epic snap in the middle of Oxford Circus!

I also got to try a Go Pro on my head which was surprisingly heavy!
This short film by Adidas captures the event brilliantly!
